Hey, i looked up this topic in particular, and ive thought about it many times, i feel the same way. Its like im just following my life on a leash, and its going to happen more or less the same way. Like my life doesnt feel real, its really hard to describe. I think it might be that we haven’t had any of lifes real wonders yet, like love, combat, true friendship, etc. I mean combat as in something life or death, win or lose, it doesnt have to be war. I think we fell this way because we know that no matter what we do, our choices dont really matter, we wont fail, but we wont do anything important either. I have a wierd feeling that the only people who feel like this are middle class kids, who have a stable life. Dont take that the wrong way, i cant explain it.

This helped me a lot. I’ve felt like this since I was thirteen and both of my grandparents died (I was EXTREMELY close to them). I’m 16, almost 17 now and I still feel like this. I’ve gotten back into some of my old hobbies, such as cheerleading and softball and it’s helped. I just thought it was strange that I wasn’t the only teenager who felt like that I suppose. Now that I know I’m not I definitely feel even better=).

Thank you so much! I have been having the same problems and I think this will really help me. Playing music and writing songs are my passions. Doing these are the only things that help me. It’s crazy to me to know that somebody else is going through this too. It’s caused me a few problems before, because I get so lost in my mind. I was told that I needed to go see a doctor by some people close to me, when I told them what was going on inside. Hopefully this will help me find reality again.
